A post that’ll make you mad (because you’re en****** without realizing it)

(Reddit doesn't allow “title” in the title) I want to start by saying this is not shaming the people who are server's, this is shaming the actual position. We should do away with the Server positions. This will take away others ability to mistreat staff while also eliminating the “I need to make scene and get free stuff” narrative plus it's get rid of the “can't tip don't eat out” notion. Now I get it, you're about to scream excuses of tiredness, not having time or “convenience” but be honest, those are YOU problems. Why does convenience have to come at the detriment of others? Why does a human “need” to bring you your food? How would an automated system be any different? Because you cant berate staff or ogle the young ladies? Let's look at the bigger picture though, the position is so outdated. We are 100% aware of why serving is in existence yet we still choose to not only ignore it but encourage by holding on to tipping culture.
