I have 10 years of experience in my field (I work in healthcare). A potential future employer told me that I lack experience because I used my university email to contact her about work, and used it as justification for why she should pay me lower wages. I use my university email because I am a university staff member. For some reason the way she assumed really angered and annoyed me and I do not wish to work for her or her company anymore. She also cited other newer places opening close to her workplace as competition which meant that she has to pay her employees lower wages since she claims she is not getting as much revenue as she used to. What are your thoughts on this? Despite all this she still wants me to work for her even though I already said no. She still emails me. What should I do in this situation? Thanks
