“I’ve found that one of the most difficult personality types to deal with are highly insecure people. These are the folks who find comfort in stable and predictable environments. They prefer security and despise changes. But change is a necessity for success.”

I feel like this is gaslighting of people who are not treated well at their workplace. Because to me his examples are not toxic phrases. It is phrases of people who know their worth and won't take BS from bosses or colleagues. But if a “leadership consultant” with 30 years of experience can get people to belive they are wrong for setting boundaries at their job (and in a way actually turning people to become insecure), he can earn money on it.

He can get hired to confirm bosses that they are right in their toxic treatment of employees and toxic people really like when people feed into their egos. And at the same time gaslight workers to belive they are wrong, can't do better elsewhere, that they are lucky that the got a boss who will help them with their “insecurities” ect. Just like gaslighting in toxic relationships with a partner or parents.
And I especially think he can earn a lot on this now that a lot of employees are starting to stand up to bad treatment, since toxic bosses is in even more need of being confirmed in their way of acting, since they don't get it as much form their employees anymore.

So why would the auther and other people like him stop spreading stuff like this article? I belive the market for bosses in need of pampering is only going to increase while there is an increase in workers saying no to bad treatment.

This is just my veiw on it. What do other people think?
