A small win for me

I’ve noticed that the vast majority of posts on this subreddit are fairly negative. Through no fault of their own, people are tired of getting shit on by their employers. So I figured I’d post something positive and previously unthinkable at my job. A year after I joked about starting earlier and getting done earlier to my boss, he approached me a few weeks ago and asked how I felt about working a 7-5, four day week instead of the current 8-5, five day week. I work as a trim carpenter for a small outfit that specializes in remodels and it’s just me and my boss so this to me was huge because he listened to me and went above what I asked for.
