I'll try to make this long story short. I left a job of 6 years, that i absolutely loved, in 2021. The company has been great and I worked hard for them. Out of respect, i have a 1 month notice because I was leaving them in a lurch. I had rolled over some vacation and went on a vacation in january for 5 days. My last day of work was Jan 29th. Because I was ONE DAY short of a month, i didnt earn 3 vacations days that i used earlier in the month, so i had to pay that back. They would take it off my last check. I also needed to redo my yearly vacation form and turn it in (screw them, i didnt do that). I found this out 4 days before my last day. They alao decided to wait until this time do to ANY cross-training. I was working at home because of covid and i told my boss, dont expect me to work. If they are taking away my 3 vacation days, im going to do the bare minimum work (check emails) but nothing else. I'll get my 3 days one way or another.
When I got my last check, they never corrected for my vacation i had to pay back and also paid me out for those 3 days because I never turned in my final vacation form.
TLDR: job said I had to pay back 3 vacation days and instead I ended up getting 6 days off and paid out for 3 more.
