I spend a lot of time daydreaming about what I imagine a perfect society would look like. Well, a better one. If I got a magic genie and used it to terriform Mars and promptly colonize it with workers before the rich and could start over.
As a baby leftist, though, I often wonder what others societies would look like.
There are things I debate: I understand how certain things would happen — farming and frankly food supply chains in general make sense. Most people would eat local which is nice. But others — how do you start your own, say, clothing boutique without factories providing cloth? We should have an easier society than we do with automation but how do you set up the means to do so?
So, I thought maybe a thought exercise and teaching thread would help me and potentially others understand. What's your dream?
