I hate being young in the workforce

It's beyond frustrating to find a decent job. I (20m) keep having an increasingly difficult time to find a steady decent paying job. I will be the first to admit that since I do not have a degree my earning potential is limited, but why do I have to go thousands of dollars into debt before I can make a living. The jib I have currently is ok, pay is alright ($17.50), however hours are all over the place. 1 week I can be working 70 hours and the next couple 25 to 35. Hence why I'm looking for something different. But every job I apply to requires a degree when 1 probably really isn't necessary. Then when I do find a job that doesn't require one they reject me for not having experience. But explain how can I get experience if you won't hire me to get the experience. Then I'd I get an interview they figure out how young I am Then usually change the entire tone of the conversation like I'm a child. I want to work, but I won't work in an industry where they'll exploit me, service and retail mainly. I'm just having trouble finding out why my options are limited for a decent job, with decent pay, with decent hours. If that's asking too much or think I'm being pretentious please let me know.

TLDR: Basically a young adult with no degree is having trouble finding a job with decent hours and pay.
