Saw a long piece on CBS Morning about how men are choosing not to work and basically lay around while “millions” of jobs are going unfilled. Their sources? Economic “expert” Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs, who plays a not-so-subtle “modern America lets men be weak” angle, spouting some apocryphal “facts” about job sites he’s seen, plus the owners of a couple companies that can’t fill some jobs. People they didn’t interview? Anyone who might actually be one of these “lazy” men. After it ran, the anchors all shook their heads in disgust. Can people really not get the agendas behind these and the ridiculous “quiet quitting” stories? Fuck management and fuck corporate media.
