Told my boss Monday morning I had tested positive for Covid and was going to be isolating to which they replied self isolation is now no longer required and they still wanted me to come in.
Considering I have a pretty active job driving a truck around the country to multiple different car garages and loading it with 800+ car tyres and interacting with their staff I completely ignored their “request” to come into work and now everyday they have been messaging me asking when I'm returning, am I vaccinated, and that Covid is and I quote “no more than the flu now”.
I'm very much looking forward to handing in my notice to a company that clearly values the wellbeing of their staff.
