We’re looking for candidates who have:
- A doctorate degree in a counseling related field required.
- 3-5 years of successful higher education teaching experience preferred.
- Appropriate certification and/or licensure may be required to teach some courses.
- Proficiency in technology and are able to use a learning management system (Blackboard). Microsoft Office software use is required.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and effective teaching and learning in various formats is preferred. Ability to integrate personal faith in Christ and related topic with classroom learning is required.
- Engage with students through course resources (i.e., Zoom, faculty videos, online faculty office hours, etc.).
- A passion for higher education and are dedicated to student success.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Affiliate Faculty pay is $1,200 – $1,800 per class for undergraduate classes. Graduate level classes are paid at $1,000 per credit hour. If the University decides the course will be delivered, total payment will be for seven (7) or more students. Classes with 3 – 6 students will be paid a total payment of 6/7th of a contract and classes with one or two students will be paid $300 per student.
