Im sorry in advance if this is too vague. My so is constantly belittled at work by their manager and the district manager does not follow open door policy as he sends everything my so texts him to the manager and they seem to have a laugh about it. Thus, my so has contacted HR due to a recent event that is being swept under the rug, but is afraid of that inevitably getting them in more trouble. What can they do? We cant find any better jobs around here that arent the same shitty retail jobs. Also in regards to said event the manager has told them “to behave” and not tell anyone else about what happened. It seems like everyone working there is crooked and my so doesnt know how they will ever find a better job even once they graduate college this year. Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? We need the money but my so has started crying everyday bc of the job and I'm rly worried about them.
