Hey yall, so I have a small history of posting here (check those out if you want extra context) but recently I went from enjoying my managers recognition, to needing a promotion, because our shift lead quit during a crazy shift, to now I’m starting a new job soon (for a shift manager at a different place with much better pay) and even though I love my managers, (exception for one) I need this job and I would like to give some warning because I have a friend still working there
Now I don’t believe you need to give a 2 week notice, im starting my new job asap because the pay will help pay rent and bills much easier, so I’m doing that. But how do I let my manager know I’m quitting soon in a easy way? Or should I let her know at all? They’re super understaffed, Thanks in advance!
