I'm going to use this place for advice or just for diary /planner posts since I think most people on here are reasonable and/or smarter individuals. I am in my early 20s. You are welcome to share thoughts.
I work 15 hrs a week and I'm living with family, get paid 550 every two weeks. I don't want to go to college or really work that many hours. Is this acceptable? If my cost of living was basically paid for, how much money should I be making or saving? I know it's up to me based on what I want to spend/my lifestyle, but roughly, for an average life, if I wanted to afford just a couple things like subscriptions or whatever, what's the absolute minimum I could make yearly? I heard 300$ a month was pretty good which makes that 3,600 yrly.
I don't expect to own a house, and maybe I shouldn't move out, so I guess it's okay to make less than 20k a year, right? I'm probably going to go to school anyway and get a better job (I just don't like part time type jobs), but I guess it's okay to make this amount of money..right?
Anybody find it foolish? I just don't expect much out of myself, or I just don't want to work. I don't know if this post is going to be received positively or negatively.
