On my second day at my first job I was assaulted by someone trying to kill another coworker with a hatchet. I sustained a few injuries varying from a brain injury, PTSD, multiple herniated discs, a broken wrist, a broken nose that had to be reconstructed. And the company and insurance made it so difficult for me to get treatment. I was treated more like a criminal than the guy that actually harmed people. Hell my manager who was in a coma got shafted worse than me and got 16,000 dollars but not from the company. The company had sent out emails to all workers about the incident and had people donate to her instead of actually setting her up with something. They even fired her a few days after the limitations on when she can sue was up. These companies don’t give a fuck about you, they’d rather pay a lawyer for 8 years instead of sending you to legit doctors.
