After leaving the previous position, they hired three people to do my job(s)

Pretty much as what title said. And this was a job I worked for 9 years. Staff members was always bit over 10. Sometimes I really can’t believe I worked at a an agency that long. 80% was fun and self achieving even pay was low. However the career was a dead end. Most of my colleagues worked for 3-4 years and left except my direct supervisor. Since I worked that long I got very familiar with the job and overall environment. As people left I started to pick up extra responsibilities, so I was actually working on IT, two programs and also some extra communication works. I got burned out since Covid so last year I asked my supervisor and new boss a change of position and raise. No surprise got rejected. I then found a another job and my income got almost tripled. Sometimes I really can’t believe I worked at a an agency that long. 80% was fun and self achieving even pay was low. However the career was a dead end. Most of my colleagues worked for 3-4 years and left except my direct supervisor.
