After losing €‎35-45 million in revenue due to strikes, the Netherlands’ largest supermarket chain concedes to giving distribution-center workers 10% salary increase without lowering the Sunday premium pay.

Strikes at Albert Heijn's distribution centers caused €35-45 million revenue loss, its market share also dropped, other supermarkets like Plus and Coop benefited from this. FNV union reached new labor agreement for the 5000-6000 workers: 10% salary increase (Albert Heijn originally only offered 6%),100% Sunday premium pay retained, better scheduling security for temp workers, more permanent positions & part-time contract expansions.
