All labor deserves dignity.

My Grandfather worked his way up through a state Fish and Game administration, and then moved on to be Chief of his tribal Fish and Game agency. Because of indignant and intolerable people he quit the job and started his own janitorial company. He was happier cleaning up actual shit than he was ever taking shit from his own people. In summary,
Pay people, they are willing to work. The will and desire is out there. The motivation is not.
