I work at a hotel. We had a high level politician check in tonight. I don't want to say who but they are very liberal (so am i, I actually voted for them) and I am 100% sure they get death threats daily. Every manager left hours before they even showed up. I was left alone to help their security team prior to their arrival and deal with everything. Not to mention all the rest of the full house. Am I crazy or should a manager have been there at least very least to help bodyguards? I also learned about this about an hour before everyone bailed. Woulda been nice to at least inform me such a high level person was coming and let me decide if wanted to be in the same building with such a high level target. Am I crazy or is that fucked up?
