Am I wrong for not following up after putting my two weeks and basically ghosting everyone?

I'm a college student and this semester decided to do work study. Well it's nothing like I thought it would be. I rarely interact with people and stare at a computer screen for 5-6 hours a day. I decided two weeks ago to email my supervisors and the director over part time students and let them know I was putting in my two weeks. I just realized I don't want to work a desk/office job and would rather interact with people. It also was really hard on my health and my grades started to drop.

I know for some people this was a dream job but for me I just need more human interaction and to keep my grades up. I just feel bad for putting the team in a bind but at the same time, I need to think about my own mental and physical health.
