I cannot disclose certain things due to confidentiality, so I need to omit certain specifics. I will be using fake names bc person A and person B just sounds… generic.
After completing a task, I left something in my vehicle that is apparently supposed to be temperature controlled.
(not hot nor cold, simply just no extreme temps, NOW THAT I KNOW)
My coworker Gary, who actually trained me, saw the items in my vehicle and told me I can get in trouble for keeping them outside like I did and he explained about the extreme temps. I responded by stating that I was never informed of this but I understand the reasoning and I thanked him for letting me know.
Gary repeated himself and I repeated myself (A habit we apparently share) Gary always gives me good tips and is actually the only person who ever actually helps me with anything.
Todd came out of nowhere, and as soon as he heard what we were talking about he starts, in my opinion over-explaining that I can get in trouble for this and blah blah blah blah …blaahh..
”But you got lucky today because that stuff is expensive”
I’m wearing a T shirt outside comfortably while this is happening… so I see no issue for today, yet I had already said “I understand” at least 3 times yet Todd continued to explain how what I was doing was “wrong” by telling me everything Gary already told me.
This is not the first time Tod has went out of his way to tell me I was doing something wrong. He once went out of the way to tell me I used the wrong exit…Yet both actions(item in vehicle and the use of the exit I prefer) were shown to me by my trainer Gary.
Tod technically works in another department and has entirely no authority over me. I don’t like his attitude or how quick he is to get mad so I tend to avoid him. I think Todd needs to mind his own damn business but am I wrong for getting annoyed? I kept it to myself but Fuck off guy.
The addition of Todd’s input leaves me confused as to whether the temperature is the only issue. I will ask Gary, but If temp is the only concern he’s just wasting oxygen imo. There is no reason to tag team telling someone they are wrong…
