America is a giant lie

It’s almost comedic isn’t it? The system is in place to keep the masses poor, stupid, and dependent on corporate overlords. The only guarantee in American society is more labor. You are not free, and are owned in every single facet of your life – from the phone you’re using, to the car you’re driving, to the clothes on your back, it’s all done by design. It’s sound conspiratorial but it’s not. America is a lie. It’s not even a capitalist country but a large corporate overtake of the government. You have no rights. There is no contingency in place for you. You got cancer? Too bad, most jobs have no policy to support you. Most jobs will not have paid enough to support your time off work. And even the slim minority of people that WILL have adequate employment, benefits, and a mild savings, you’re fucked long-term. That’s just…

That’s just a mild example. Forget the American dream, forget your passions, forget your family, your friends, and experiencing everything this life has to offer. Your are guaranteed one thing: work until you’re too old and then death.

America is a class system gone wrong. Sure, you can scrounge your way up the hierarchical ladder, I sure did, but to what avail? I’m finally worth health insurance and decent wage after working and putting myself through school? Fuck this entire system. Doesn’t change my mind one bit.

America is a lie. Corporations will own you until you die. Upward mobility isn’t real. Luck and social class largely determine your destiny. Poor-shaming people is capitalism’s way of keeping change from happening, and making you think you somehow won because you made it into middle class 🥇

America is indeed the best country in the world, Just not for you.
