My antiwork perspective dominates many other facets of my life. People shouldn't have to work so much > we should be paid more > a few corporations have disproportionate control … and other narratives. I've realised how significantly pessimistic i've become in recent years. It has permeated into my life and impacted me in complex ways that has taken me months to identify.
How do you not be so pessimistic? Obviously the monster institutions of our work system are very harmful to most people and may not change a lot in my lifetime. Literally having so many hours consumed by work is also discouraging. How do you accept it or move past it?
