I’m a remote employee, and my days are long. I am inevitably burnt out. Can’t even do the bare minimum after work (I.e cook, shower, etc), depleted of energy, lack of sleep, can’t concentrate on working tasks. and just irritable. I also live in the Midwest where it’s cold and dark by 4pm. I take vitamins and that’s about it.
Any tips on how to fight this burn out? I just took 10 days off but that obviously did nothing for me. After resting for two days straight, I think my body finally caught up with me and I got sick immediately.
