Feel like the antiquated beliefs of work ethic are just tools of the oppressor?
We have a leadership issue. Our company hires people in charge based on “loyalty” and commitment. The requirements for advancement at my job are limiting for new applicants or new employees but the leadership got them wanting bed because they worked here pre covid and they all subscribe to the bootlicker ideology. It’s such a buzz kill.Like field slaves becoming house slaves.
Anyone else experience this/have any support suggestions for someone like me who just works the 40 hours and opts into overtime when I want to have nice things?
