Anyone else’s work have to close if they phone in sick?

I work at a cafe and haven’t been able to work recently due to grieving my mother. However, if I’m unable to make it in to work the cafe has to shut for the day and I end up feeling extremely guilty and have felt pressured to come in even though my mental health is struggling.
