This was the question posted in the Facebook group I belong to called This is an IT Support Group (IT People supporting each other not users). This was my response to the question. Although the person I'm talking about didn't get a job in IT.

They have a huge DC close to where I live. I've known a lot of people that worked for them for a few months and then fired.
One guy I knew was in his early 60s, and was jazzed he finally got a job. He actually was an out of work music teacher and composer. Although, a nice guy and he was willing to work, but he obviously had issues walking, and his arthritis was getting bad.
They sacked him after a few days. It sucks seeing a grown man cry. I didn't know what to do. I just sat next to him put my arm around him, and to my surprise started to cry also.
He called to thank me later. He said it was cathartic, and helped a lot.
