Anyone on a low salary but happier with the trade offs?

I was earning £32k and was WFH for 4 days a week but I was constantly stressed and burnt out and unhappy in my job. Constant emails and pointless meetings, never mind actually getting on with the work I had to do. Plus all the office politics going on and people leaving and not getting replaced, instead that persons additional work being piled on and shared out to my colleagues and myself. I decided to try a different job where the salary was £9k less and I have to be there 5 days a week. It’s kind of like a warehouse role but the pros are amazing: it’s 5 mins away by car, maybe 2 emails a week, no meetings, I can be my own boss and am not really bothered by people, it’s very repetitive work but there is hardly any stress and I feel so much happier. I actually feel liberated by not being in the ‘rat race’ anymore.
