Applied for a job with crazy expectations

I’m a GIS analyst and my contract is ending soon so I’ve been applying to a lot of places. Tbf I don’t really look at a lot of expectations on job apps because a lot of them are pretty crazy anyway, but this one really stuck out. I got an interview request from a really same company (maybe 20-30 people) for a senior GIS analyst position. So probably this guy just helps manage a geo-database and does trouble shooting and in the meantime does actual GIS work. WRONG. They wanted a guy who could code websites in python, JavaScript, do IIS web admin (front-end development), an IT administrator for their geo-database, machine learning experience, is a GIS solution architect, trains other analysts, provides help desk support, actually produces the GIS product (so the actual part of being an analyst). So like 4-5 different jobs. For less then 70,000 a year.…

The posting has been up for well over a month. I mean what the hell, they’re looking for a software developer/it admin that specializes in GIS and they are not even going into the 6 figure territory. I’m not saying I’m qualified (hell if they had looked at my resume they’d have known immediately), but holy shit this is not a GIS analyst position. They just called it that so they didn’t have to pay someone properly for their skills.

How delusion are these people?
