I'm currently thinking about taking a job and as a part of the online onboarding process they want me to agree to a mutual dispute resolution agreement. It says basically I'd have to go through the arbitration process with a company called the American Arbitration Association who I can only assume has a contract with the company I'm looking to work with. It's a very very part time position essentially putting up and maintaining television displays, graphics, and other things at stores and the like for a couple of bucks over my states minimum wage. Is it worth signing this thing? The answers I got from Google seemed kind of lukewarm both ways so I figured I would ask directly. They also want photos of my drivers license and social security card for the I9 paperwork which I guess but it feels sketchy. Any advice would be very appreciated, thank you very much!
