Asked for a raise with an offer letter for leverage. Was told they don’t believe me

Good old corporations at work. I interviewed with a few other companies recently, mostly for shits and giggles — I like to keep up on my interview skills and waste their time by demanding a liveable wage that they almost always turn down. Welp, this company met my pay request. Unfortunately they were far too away from me to make things work (and moving isn't an option) so I turned them down. But I used the offer letter as leverage for my current job to give me a raise. When I told them I'd be leaving if I couldn't see a pay bump, they demanded to see the offer letter I spoke of. Whatever, that shits petty but I gave it to them — with all the company info blacked out with post it notes, because it's not professional to be disclosing that information, in my opinion.

Shit, it's not professional to ask for proof either but I expected this behavior.

What I didn't expect was them to demand I reveal that information, and then call me a liar saying if I couldn't provide it then it wasn't real and I photoshopped the offer letter. I responded with my 2 weeks saying it clearly made more sense to take this other job and NOW they wanna negotiate a pay bump

I just love how corporations act like GODDAMN CHILDREN. Y'all are buying my employement, not the other way around. You want workers? You gotta pay for them. And we all have a price. Mine is now a liveable wage.
