My partner left a job of 9 years because she wasn’t getting compensated well for her time being there. She’s been in her new position for 1 year. She was promised a very specific role in the near future. Her direct supervisor is leaving (unexpectedly) and the CFO/COO are passing those duties on to her with no raise increase or proper training for anything. She’s worried this role she was promised is not even coming to fruition and it was all a facade act to corner her into absorbing her supervisors duties. She wants to quit badly and I’m okay with that. We’re almost 30. Can the internet give its 2 cents and make her feel better about leaving or not leaving and accepting quitting a job at this age.
