I’m a welder fabricator a weld test is typically always required, I don’t mind that. Some light fit up showing you can read a tape and blueprints is normal. I showed up for a interview Friday and they wanted me to fab a whole rack up, it was 10ft long by 3ft wide by 5ft tall. It wasn’t to complicated but was quite a bit of work for an interview. Then after the interview they wanted to short me 3 dollars from my current pay after we had already talked pay on the phone. At this point I just got up and left. I’m really tempted to send a bill to them for my labor.
