One of my coworkers who is actually one of the best performers in our company got an attendance point the other day because she wanted to move her hour of overtime to the beginning of her shift instead of the end. The reason? She was flying out of state and was getting her exam before getting a kidney transplant. She offered to make up the hour another time but they absolutely refused to budge. That's corporate America for you guys.
