Before you screech at me, calm down and hear me out. There are some of you who are legitimately calling out the bullshit of corporations. That’s awesome, and theres a lot of great points and perspectives being shared. However, the vast majority of this subreddit takes these legitimate thoughts and uses them as launching pads for absolute insanity. The level of entitlement, non action, defeatist, loser attitudes on this sub is insane. You fail to recognize the basic truths about the world we live in and expect all to be served to you on a silver platter. You want a stress free, financially unfettered life. Well guess what, everyone wants that. And since you are all too lazy to forge your own way, you need to recognize that the world is competitive, and you will get beaten so far into the ground if you dont take action for your life.…

You fail to recognize the basic truths about the world we live in and expect all to be served to you on a silver platter. You want a stress free, financially unfettered life. Well guess what, everyone wants that. And since you are all too lazy to forge your own way, you need to recognize that the world is competitive, and you will get beaten so far into the ground if you dont take action for your life. I have worked 2 jobs through high school and college, as well as i have started several business in my freetime after these responsibilities. I taught myself to code, and after multiple failures and many long months started a videogame server which was successful for about a year. I leveraged artistic hobbies by spending my time selling online and growing that, even if it is a total grind. I leveraged my network to run a successful photography business after being self taught for years and using my skills, passions and any available freetime to benefit my life. I used to get up early prior to my work shift during highschool on the weekends so that i could drive doordash for 4 hours beforehand. I know what youre thinking. Nobody should have to do that. But that is just not the way things will ever be. Take an economics class and you will understand. If theres one thing i have learned, things tend to go to the people who prove they want them most. So if you truly want all that you wish for, take some accountability. Dont do the bare minimum at your job. Dont blame everyone for your problems. Dont expect anything from anyone. Make yourself marketable and leverage your skills. Please take ownership of your life instead of using legitimate societal criticisms as a slippery slope to complete laziness. Rant over.
