He can easily be fooled and I got another job by 40% more

To make a long story short, today my boss called me into a meeting in which they told me that several people have “complained that I talk too much and will insert myself into conversations”. I work early in the mornings, and my medication takes time to kick in and begin working. This specific comment made me extremely uncomfortable and I am feeling much more relieved with my decision to quit my job. ADHD is also covered under the ADA and my employer making a comment like this with a condescending tone, while knowing about my condition, is very hurtful and I am glad i’m leaving.
Might get fired for taking vacation.
Every year for the past 10 years I have lived on the opposite side of the country as the rest of my family. Once per year I take a vacation to visit with them. Due to a company buyout, I now have three times as much vacation time annually as I did previously. However, when I notified said employer in December that I planned on taking my normal trip but extending it to my full amount of PTO, they strongly implied that they could not have me gone for three weeks and asked about me working while I am gone. I have no plans to work while I am gone because it is the only time I get to see my family. Honestly, I kinda hope they fire me for it.
I'm Canadian. Our manager had us sit through a product info session with a guy from corporate who told us all about the improvements and that he wanted every member of staff to sample the new products because corporate felt the educators were very important and needed this hands-on information in order to better sell the product. At the end of the session, six of us watched him place orders for $250+ worth of marijuana and edibles. Technically no one can handle the entirety of his order legally as it is over 30grams of cannabis but because it's supposed to be individual samples paid for by corporate, it's fine. Our manager then proceeded to take all of the product and returned, allowing us a choice of a single pack of candies instead of the full half quarter of cannabis we watched corporate buy for us. Even the older staff seemed…
and he said that he cannot match the new salary nor benefits. In return though he offered me much more responsibilities for 15% less pay than the new offer, and said that the company is expanding fast so I should better just wait. He complemented me on my job so far but also said I am not good enough and he expects more from me. He always says I have potential but am still not there yet… Worst part is, I believed him at first. Hey, maybe if I wait a couple pf years I will get that promotion I said to myself. The money is not that bad, I am learning a lot I said to myself. Not any more. I am quitting and taking the better offer right now. Don't let yourselves be fooled for years about that mysterious offer and opportunity that awaits – there are companies…
