I applied for a role with a new company, few days later I get a call back stating that they are impressed and want to proceed.
This is where the fuckery happens as they tell me they think I'll be a better fit for a lower role and suggest that I'll be going for the position of a call center employee (currently I'm a IT administrator)
They disguise it as a “specialist” mad then tell me that the pay is good (a major paycut even if I get the cap amount)
Tell them no and that it was a insult of an offer and hang up on them.
A few days later they apparently took it as a confirmation of me accepting the chance to interview for the new role.
Ended up accepting the interview to tell them off and waist their time.
