I applied for a remote job at the end of May. Yesterday I got a message through indeed from their “talent acquisition” saying:
“Thank you for applying for our onsite CSR position. If you'd like to schedule an interview, please reach out immediately.”
So I message back:
“I applied for the remote customer service position. No where on the job listing did it mention this role was on site, I am curious as to why it's now being communicated that this is in fact an on-site position.”
Then a RECRUITER messages stating to please give him a call to discuss the role.
Im not interested in discussing the role. Don't put something as remote and then message stating it's in person.
It's been a constant state of bait and switch when it comes to postings on any site. Frustration doesn't even begin to cover how I've been feeling with looking for a new job. It sucks having to stay at a job I can't stand, but I can't leave until/if I find something else.
