This is an opinion that I believe to be true. Catchphrases like “bare minimum mondays” will end up hurting us in the long run. It’s easy ammo for those pulling the strings to try and justify walking back the progress workers have made. I’m a big fan of this sub and mentality. We need to take back our lives from a system that has robbed us of our time and wellbeing. Do not give them ammo! Just point the issues out and figure out how to change them. If we’re going on strike, then let’s do it! No more “I’m/we’re not gonna meet your standards” rhetoric. Just you(employer) are not meeting our(workers) standards! With the right stance on these issues, they don’t have shit on us. If you don’t want to put in 110% on Mondays (I never do), then just don’t and advocate for a less than 40 hour work week. Totally interested in changing my mind on this if someone’s got a good argument. Thanks
