My current boss somehow got wind that I attended a short job interview on a day that I had booked off.
I have worked there over a year only missed one day from my alarm not ringing, everything is done behind the scenes but I'm pretty sure we are employees if we can book paid holidays off.. I have asked for contract or info multiple times. So…
He text me Saturday to let me know I had a 2 weeks notice due to this interview and we were to have a meeting on the Monday.
So had the meeting explained how I thought this was wrong I wanted to stay and I was just looking around as days had gotten longer and harder and pay the same.
Was then told it is still two weeks notice but he will review it on the Friday (which he don't realise is a bank holiday so will be Thursday).
All I want to know is this unfair dismissal and also wanted to note all of this was verbal nothing written down and what my rights are as an employee.
