Being warned for being 1-2 minute late after a break

I find this so ridiculous. Even in Amazon the higher ups never really given a shit if you were 1-3 mins late from your break. I work in a call centre and being 1-2 minutes late you get a message from one of the managers saying “where are you, you are late” or something along the lines of that. Being warned the times I am late is being monitored. I feel like I'm in school, but even in school the teachers were a bit more relaxed. Foolish me thought I could take a quick piss before going back to the desk, but i needed to go to my desk, change my status to unauthorized break and then go for a piss. Silly me, I should piss myself for the team Surely a 3 mins grace period makes sense in a lot of workplaces? That's how it's worked where Ive been…

I hate working in a call centre. Everything I do is monitored. When I breathe, when I drink my coffee… I'm waiting on a start date for my new job and can't wait.
