Working on finding a lawyer for my retaliation case and one has asked for supporting documents.
I have been compiling my evidence for about 6 months, now I have many emails showing where I complain about issues, followed by emails where I’m being made to look like I’m not doing my job by the same people I’m complaining about including my boss but I’m not sure anyone wants to read thru a bunch of emails for free before deciding to take my case.
I don’t want to overload lawyers during the initial conversations but I’m not sure how to limit what I’m saying to stick to the MOST important thing and give them the clearest picture in the least amount of time discussing.
Can anyone help me? I just need to know what’s the most important thing to focus on when discussing a possible retaliation claim to a lawyer in hopes of getting them to take your case.
Im sure if the lawyer or someone told me “we need evidence of this” I could just go thru emails and compile the ones showing that specific issue but it’s hard when I have a bunch of generally nasty passive aggressive emails compiled over months.
