Best job for folks who want to bring a laptop to work and study/game/etc

Hey guys, long-time labor and factory worker here. I'm looking to make some major budget changes in my life, I have this apartment lease until July, and once that's over, I'm either getting a room on Craigslist or going back to my hometown to live with my Dad. I'll probably have to get another boring job that hopefully pays at least $20 if I go back to my Dad's, but I'll be having a lot of cash go into my bank account since I won't have to pay rent, and then I'm going to buy either a large van or an RV and just live in that until I can find success from my passions.

But until then, in regards to either being a van dweller or a Craigslist basement dweller with cheap rent, what are some jobs that I could take on that don't require some supervisor to be checking up on me?

I've been exploring a lot of security positions and a lot of night audit positions as well. I've also been exploring programming and I've been studying on freecodecamp whenever I have time, only issues with these are, I don't want a graveyard shift job, and it's looking like it's probably going to take me 5+ years to be an efficient enough coder to be employable in this age of AI.

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.
