“Better Match” – Explain how.

I've been looking to change companies for two months now (because my current one told me that I wasn't qualified for the promotion I asked for, but then asked me to do the work of that job anyway), and over those weeks I've come across many job listings that have been a 70-80% match for my skills, some of which have resulted in interviews that I turned down for various reasons. How can there be a better match? You stole MY job description. They even stole my exact level of experience, listing requirement for 7 years. What a weirdly specific number of years required.

Whole situation is incredibly sus. Anyone ever experienced this?
