Big sale, low benefits

So, I worked for a midsize company that was just sold to a larger company (I now work for the larger company). A premium price was paid for the shares because we have good products. Predictably, the CEO, CFO, and Board got a crapton of money. The workers? No retention bonus, below inflation raise, reduced WFH policy, and no jackets that were promised when the merger was announced. But we got welcomed into the (company name) family! Unbelievable. Runaway capitalism is just destroying life.
