So job got 2 new staff I'm a cart associate love my job until lately..
New boss spends all the time in the backroom on the PC.. doesn't come out and see what I do and the mess the alcoholic cart associate does to people..
Tuesday hey we need to inspect the parking lot before you can clock out because the last 2 days Sunday and Monday my days off I'm not there.
Cart associates left carts in the parking lot.
I replied no 1 cart associate left carts out there let me guess the alcoholic did right.
The coach replies yes and I was livid angry ..
I told them sure you can inspect the parking lot no problem but you better make sure that you do it before 10:45 on my way home.
I'm packed up leaving for the day clocked out they stop me I needed to inspect your work..
Go ahead parking lots clean storage is packed I managed to get all the carts inside help 5 customers with tvs and BBQ grills and even fixed the cart door which you tried to glue back together with the wrong epoxy that won't set.
All while the alcoholic was smoking a cigarette heading to the bathroom to sneak booze and come out and do 6 carts and refuses to do the karts at the end of the parking lot and is basically worthless .
I told them you will need a babysitter for him tomorrow.
They looked pissed off..
Well I'm sorry I have 197 hours of time off and I'm taking a day off so enjoy the hell of a non functional employee.
You hired me with three other cart associates you refused to do anything about the alcoholic drinking on the job you had the other guy quit and not coming back . And it's only me and the alcoholic now only the alcoholic who can only do 6 karts at a time enjoy the day from hell.
And I walked out.
Thursday. We need you to come in early please nope my day off enjoy the mess.
I'm going to enjoy anti work day hope they have fun.
