I had gotten a text yesterday at around 3:30pm from my boss asking if i were able to come in at open at 4:30am due to one of the other shift leads are out because of covid. I got off work at 1pm yesterday and passed out and didn’t wake up until around 5pm today( bad sleep schedule). i text him back saying that i could but needed to know what time i would leave because i am already scheduled 7am- 3:30pm. he said not to worry and that he would open. i then rephrased the question and he reiterated that he would open and leave around 9 and be back later to close. he schedules most shifts to come in at 1pm-9:30 when they close so i don’t understand what i did wrong? i checked the messages again to see if he said anything and turns out he silenced my notifications. so am i in the wrong for asking when i would get off work??
