So my boss just messaged me saying I had 5 lunch penalties this pay period for going over my 5th hour. Then he says don’t worry I changed 2 of them because you only went over 10 minutes. I was taken aback like did he just admit to falsifying my timecard,so I confirmed “you changed my time card to avoid me getting a lunch penalty where you guys would have to pay me an extra hour” and he said yes.
I’m in California who do I report this to? I’m not going to tell him what he just did is illegal until I report it. He thinks since we’re a small company that certain laws don’t apply to them so I wanna show him he’s wrong.
