boss covered my union sticker

I have a sticker on my water bottle that says “there is power in a union” and has a picture of my friend’s face photoshopped onto a drawing of a woman swinging a hammer. This has never been a problem until earlier this month, when I was in the back and I saw my manager notice my union sticker and turn my bottle all the way around to see all of my stickers. I don’t think he knows who it belongs to. A few days ago, I walked into the break room and noticed that my sticker had been covered with a sticky note. I took the post it off and continued as normal, but it does have me a little paranoid about where I take my bottle. It felt so passive aggressive. Are they allowed to tell me to take it off? I’m pretty sure if I was supporting a union with a pin or something they wouldn’t be able to, but I’m not sure if the same applies here. I want to know my rights in case I am confronted. Thanks y’all
