So i just started a job at a place that rhythms with yaco dell. I was working a 11 hour shift on Saturday, 12 to 11pm. It was about 930pm and i was so tired my feet were burning. I was beat. 2 people had called off and we were short handed but we got it done. So my general manager calls me over infront of everyone and says “hey i need you to stay till 1am, i need someone else here and your a shift lead” i was shocked. She didn't even ask if i would do it. She told me i had to stay after a already horrible 9 hour shift.
I calmy said “can we speak about this in the office?” She said no and asked why i couldnt just say what i had to say. So i did. I told her i came into work today i did what i was supposed to why am i being pumished for them not coming in? She got quiet and i said im sorry but im not staying. Im already very tired and still have almost 2 hours left. She said ok its fine but she stopped talking to me after that point.
I feel like its not my responsibility, she worked 2 to 10 that day, why couldnt she stay? I was just kinda upset about it. Everyone at work was telling me its ok. But idk i feel like shell hold this against me
