Boss is ignoring me, it’s been 1.5 weeks

Curious to see what others think, I’ll try to make this as concise as possible. I work as a department of one at a small company of less than 50 people globally. I work from home, traveling multiple hours to go to the office once or twice a month at the request of my boss. Mileage and lodging is paid for during this. I’ve been work here 4 years. The ceo is my direct manager, and he’s misogynistic and believe millennials (me) and gen Z are all lazy. He’s voiced this plenty of times. I think his distaste for these generations plays a part in this. He’s voiced this opinion multiple times. I keep my head down and do my work and have never received negative feedback.

I got my last raise is 2021, which still put my pay below the average, but my schedule lets me be flexible and we didn’t have to deal with any covid bs so it worked for me. At my performance review in April I asked for a raise, he said things are tight. Ok. We then discussed me taking more involvement in the company and trying out an additional role for 90 days to see if I like it. These new responsibilities would require extra and more fast paced work, his words. I wrote a 90 day trial job title change per his request and sent it via DocuSign. After, I sent him this message adjusted slightly. I wanted to state my intentions and make it clear I do not want additional work for no pay change:

“I wanted to touch base quickly about the X role I will be taking for at least the next 90 days. my goal is to help X maximize the efficiency of the X department and assist in the further growth of the company, these added responsibilities would necessitate increased compensation upon continuing this role past the initial 90 day period. … to be appropriately compensated in line with the added duties and no available raises the past two years, I would seek to increase my base pay in the range of X. I feel confident and excited with the possibilities this role will bring.“

He has not responded to me or signed the DocuSign since. I reached out a few days later regarding the signature, and asking a question pertinent to a discussion we previously had. He also did not respond to this. It’s been almost two weeks.

Another employee mentioned he’s not been himself for the last month or so and he seems stressed.

I don’t see why he’s ignoring me, he’s my boss, the ceo, and 20 years older than me and acting like a child with a bad attitude. Thoughts??

I love what I do and my schedule and I’m not interested in changing it but it’s getting ridiculous.
